Payakapum Mission Trip(1) 10 to 17 Dec07


10-17 Dec 07 Mission Trip Overview


Phayakapum is in the NorthEastern region of Thailand; 7 hours bus journey from Bangkok. Payakapum houses the
Issan people group in the region. Issan people group is one of the least reached people groups in the world and fall within the 10/40 window

Team Size:

25 to 35 people, consisting of WOW leaders, BPMC adults and youths and handful of Christians from other churches.

Tentative Activities:

  • Teaching simple English in Primary and Secondary School in town and villages
  • Medical service in village
  • Evening village evangelism
  • Organize English youth camp in school

Requirements for WOW Participants

  • A Christian
  • Attended Class 101 – How to develop your spiritual maturity
  • Consistently attend DG
  • Attend at least 80% of mission trip training (meaning you can only miss one session)
  • Interviewed and debriefed by WOW leader before and after the trip
  • Writing a one page (A4 size) mission trip experience after trip
  • Willingness to serve
  • Team Player


S$500.00 Cost includes air ticket, land transport, basic lodging, meals and travel insurance.
If you need subsidy from the church, do fill in a separate subsidy form. We will submit to the church mission committee to consider. Church subsidy will not be more than S$250.00 per student.

Training Dates:

13 Oct (Saturday): 2pm to 4pm (Parents and Students)
20 Oct (Saturday): 2pm to 4pm
27 Oct (Saturday): 2pm to 4pm
3 Nov (Saturday): 2pm to 4pm
17 Nov (Saturday): 2pm to 4pm
1 Dec (Saturday): 2pm to 4pm (Prayer)
